How can the Davis Concepts for Life℠ Program help your loved one function more effectively in the world?


The Davis Concepts for Life program was created for anyone who wants to achieve meaningful change in their life.


A highly trained, caring Davis Autism Facilitator will work closely with your loved one to guide them through the program at their own pace and adapt the program to suit their personal goals.


Davis Concepts for Life can be accessed by any individuals over four years of age, however for children under the age of eight there is a specially designed program called Davis Concepts for Life – Early Years.


People who have completed the Davis Concepts for Life Program have experienced many benefits, including:

  • Less anxiety, including lower social anxiety

As a family member of an individual struggling with executive functioning, you can choose two different pathways to give your loved one access the Davis Concepts for Life program:


Pathway One - Contact a Davis Concepts for Life Facilitator

Highly trained, caring Davis Facilitators work individually with each client and, if necessary, a support person. The Facilitator will adapt the program to suit the need of the individual, and will also give their support person the tools and training to provide effective support at home. 

Pathway Two - Enrol in a Davis Concepts for Life Workshop

Highly skilled Davis Concepts for Life Workshop Presenters run these 5-day workshops worldwide.  They provide you with the knowledge and tools to be able to take your loved one through the Davis Concepts for Life program at home.

The main elements in the three-step Davis Concepts for Life program are:


Step 1 – Executive functioning strategies

The individual is coached through a series of simple, effective tools to manage stress, control energy levels and maintain (or regain) focus. 


Step 2 – Concepts for Self

Clay mastery of a series of life concepts, complemented with experiential learning experiences that are fundamental to creating meaningful change for each individual.  These concepts include: cause and effect, consequence, time, sequence, order/disorder, perception, emotion, motivation, and responsibility.


Step 3 –Concepts for relationships

Understanding different types of relationships, and making decisions that take into account their own needs and those of others.
